Still no heroine for SRK's 'Happy New Year'
While tabloids are having a field day trying to second guess the lead heroine in Farah Khan's Happy New Year, the choreographer-director says she is yet to decide on the casting and no names have been finalised.
"I am yet to find the heroine. I am looking for the right face and would tell you shortly when we find her," said Farah according to PTI. Farah, 48, said she chose Shah Rukh for the film because he fits into the character.
"It is an automatic choice - Shah Rukh. Not because he is my close buddy, but he fits into the role."
Farah, who also made her acting debut last year with Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi, has helmed many masala films like Main Hoon Na, Om Shanti Om and Tees Maar Khan.
Earlier, names like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra had been thrown around for the female lead in Happy New Year around but Farah had rubbished those reports too. Reportedly, a three-hero-one heroine project, Shah Rukh Khan and Abhishek Bachchan have so far been confirmed for the film.
