Akshay-Tamannaah's comic caper 'It's Entertainment' rolls
Some time back we'd reported that South hottie Tamannaah, who was earlier seen this year in the colossal Sajid Khan debacle Himmatwala, had bagged Ramesh Taurani's next comedy which would pair her with Akshay Kumar. The film now has a title, it's called It's Entertainment and its shooting too has commenced in Bangkok.
The film is directed by writers Sajid-Farhad who wrote blockbusters like Golmaal (2006), Singham (2011) and Bol Bachchan (2012). and has a large ensemble cast, which includes names like Mithun Chakraborty, Sonu Sood, Prakash Raaj, Johnny Lever and Krushna Abhishek.
And that's not all. A golden retriever named Wonder Dog, also has a key role in the film, and it's the dog's inclusion in the film, that Kumar is most excited about.
"This film is full of love and laughter. Apart from working with Tamannaah, the best bit is that for the first time in my career, I'll be working with a dog! I've romanced women; I've played with babies; I've done every stunt under the sun. Now, it's time for me to take a cue from a canine. This film promises fun and it has got what everyone loves - dogs, dogs and more dogs," said the actor to The Times of India.
Adds Tamannaah, "I'm super excited to be working with Akshay. This film is pure entertainment and I'm really happy that it's my next Bollywood project."
For the actress's sake we hope its a tad more bearable than her much touted debut, which bit the dust and was panned across the board.
It's Entertainment is scheduled to release early 2014.
