Krrish 3 trailer being fine tuned
The sequel to the blockbusting sci-fi franchise, Krrish 3 is probably one of the most ambitious films that the Roshans have worked on. Rumour has it that the film's budget is in the region of nearly Rs.125 crore (£1.5m approx), which is why it comes as no surprise then, that Hrithik Roshan is spending all his spare time ensuring that the first trailer of the film looks just right and has the desired impact. A trailer after all is the first impression of a film, and a first impression usually makes a lasting one.
“Anyone who walks into the studio at any time of day or night, is likely to bump into Hrithik. For weeks now he has been ensconced in the editing room, overseeing every bit of the trailers which will not go on air before the middle of this year,” said a source to Mumbai Mirror.
The first trailer is being edited at a studio in the suburbs of Mumbai, which specialises in cutting promotional trailers, and has films such as Ghajini (2008), Rockstar (2011), and Koi Mil Gaya (2003) to their credit.
There were plans initially to release the film in 3D, but these have now been scrapped. Confirming this, Rakesh Roshan told Mumbai Mirror, “Krrish 3 is not happening in 3D.”
In the film, Hrithik returns as the masked superhero Krrish, Priyanka Chopra reprises her role as Priya and Vivek Oberoi and Kangna Ranaut play the film’s antagonists. It releases this Diwali.
