'The Hangover Part III' opens to disastrous reviews

The Hangover Part III is the next in line and the final film in the super successful The Hangover franchise, which, despite mixed reviews from critics, has grossed over $1 billion worldwide.

In the third and final one, 'The Wolfpack' return to Vegas and come head to head with Mr Chow, who's much more armed and dangerous than before.

The Hangover Part III has opened to poor reviews

Distributed by Warner Bros and directed by Todd Phillips, The Hangover Part III releases this week, and if early indications are anything to go by, the finale of the record breaking franchise sucks, big time.

The film currently holds a pathetic 27% and is 'Certified Rotten' on review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes, based on a whopping 80 reviews, and is unlikely to redeem itself. Whether negative reviews affect the box office outcome of the film remains to be seen though.

"I'm not sure who let the dogs out this time, but they should be made to pay," said the Los Angeles Times.

Peter Travers from Rolling Stone too criticised the film saying, "The first movie left you with an exhilarating rush. All that Part III leaves is, well, a hangover."

Stella Papamichael from The Digital Spy was less harsh on the film, and gave it three stars, but felt there was no need for another sequel.
