A special song put together to celebrate 100 years of Indian Cinema brings 20 leading stars of Bollywood together. Titled 'Apna Bombay Talkies' the song for the film Bombay Talkies, features Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, Anil Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Farhan Akhtar, Imran Khan, Juhi Chawla, Kareena Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, Priyanka Chopra, Ranbir Kapoor, Rani Mukerji, Ranveer Singh, Saif Ali Khan, Shahid Kapoor, Shah Rukh Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Sridevi and Vidya Balan. It has been choreographed by Vaibhavi Merchant and has music by Amit Trivedi while the lyrics have been penned by Swanand Kirkire.

In Bombay Talkies, some of the finest talents of tinsel town come together to mark 100 years of Indian cinema. Zoya Akhtar, Anurag Kashyap, Karan Johar and Dibakar Banerjee direct four short stories that eventually culminate into one. The film features Amitabh Bachchan, Rani Mukerji, Saqib Saleem, Katrina Kaif, Randeep Hooda,  Sadashiv Amrapurkar and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in each of the short stories.
