Zoya Akhtar wants to make a small budget film

The talented director wants to direct a small film after Bombay Talkies

Zoya Akhtar is talented. Both her films Luck By Chance and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara were little gems and both had big stars, but it seems the director is now in the mood to make a small budget film.

"If I get the opportunity (to make a small budget film), I would love to. I think your budget depends on your choice. Yes, definitely, I will be making one tiny film soon for sure," said Akhtar to IANS.

When she was quizzed about whether she felt the pressure, considering she hails from such a talented family, the director replied:

"You just keep feeling pressured. The same question was asked when I was making my first film, then my film failed. Then when I had Hrithik (Roshan) in my next film, the same question popped out. I can't think about it, I can only work hard. The pressure is always there and it is for everyone. It is part and parcel of your business," she added.

Akhtar's next film is Bombay Talkies, in which she directs one of four short stories that eventually culminate into one. The film releases 3 May 2013.
