Aamir-Katrina launch 'Dhoom 3' merchandise
With its release now just a few weeks away, the promotions for Yash Raj Films' big budget extravaganza Dhoom 3 are now in full swing. And as part of those promotions, both Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif came together earlier today, Tuesday 19 November 2013, to launch an extensive range of official merchandise and technology products which ranged from mobile games and fashion accessories to dolls, cards and notebooks.
Aamir, who plays Sahir - 'The Clown Thief', and Katrina, who essays Aaliya - 'The Acrobat Diva' in the film, launched the array of products at Yash Raj Studios, and as usual Aamir, who was quizzed about the film was at his witty best.

"I love tall women and her (Katrina's) heels didn't come in the way," Aamir said to reporters at the event.
Katrina said heels are not something that one randomly decides to wear. "If it's required you do it or else you don't," she added.
In terms of actresses getting their due in Bollywood, Katrina feels women are finally getting parts that they deserve.
"I do see the change — the change is happening. Actresses are getting their due credit. A lot of women centric films are being made," said the diva.
Upon being questioned as to whether she feels threatened by arch rival Deepika Padukone's meteoric rise to the top Katrina said, "I feel I am blessed in my career so far. God has given me more than what I have asked for. I have never been sad or complained about anything."

"It's good to improve yourself with each film. Competition is a good thing. It pushes you to do good work. Any competition is good," said the actress.
Dhoom 3 is directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya and also features Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra. It hits theatres 20 December 2013.
