Ajay Devgn impressed with Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani promo

Ajay Devgn called Ranbir Kapoor to congratulate him

Possibly one of the most anticipated films of the year, Ayan Mukerji’s Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani hasn’t got just the ‘aam junta’ excited. It seems to have got B-Town bigwigs singing its praises and awaiting its release too. And this just after viewing the film's first trailer which launched earlier this week. Word is that that Ajay Devgn was so impressed with the first look of the film, both he and Sajid Khan personally called up Ranbir Kapoor to congratulate him on the same.

Its all quite ironic really. Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani was supposed to release on the same day as Sajid-Ajay’s Himmatwala. If anything, after viewing the promo, Devgn was probably partially relieved that the films didn't clash, given that RK's film might have given his film, a remake of the Jeetendra-Sridevi smash hit of the same name, a run for its money!
