Arjun Kapoor and Akshay Kumar will be seen in Karan Johar's next.
Arjun Kapoor seems to have impressed quite a few industry bigwigs. After his winning turn in Yash Raj Films Ishaqzaade, Kapoor will be seen in their Gunday, Aurangzeb, Dharma Productions’ 2 States and now a Karan Johar-Akshay Kumar joint production Gutka.
A source told Mumbai Mirror: “Arjun impressed everyone with his raw performance in Ishaqzaade. Though Imran and Ranbir are KJo’s favourites, Arjun is certainly playing catch up. He has already shot a lot of scenes for 2 States and surpassed his previous performance.”
The source added: “Arjun is kicked about working with Akshay Kumar. His happiness knows no bounds as he is the only actor who has bagged two movies with Dharma in quick succession. He will finalise the portions of Gunday, which is expected to go on floors this year.”
Kapoor next film will be Aurangzeb, which features him in a double role and releases 17 May 2013.
