Hottie Deepika Padukone has been voted ‘India’s Most Desirable Woman’ in a recent poll conducted by Indian brand Peri Peri Skinwear. The poll received over 700, 000 votes and Padukone won by a fair margin.
“I do hope that my desirability comes from my work and the person I am and that it's not just limited to the physical attributes. I am told I come across as a person who is warm and real. At the same time, people aspire to be like me as I am a young achiever without a film industry background,” said Padukone to The Times Of India.
The rest of the list was made up of the remaning B-Town divas like Kareena Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra and Bipasha Basu.
However the newest and most surprising entrant to the list, who shot in straight at number five, was ex adult entertainment star Sunny Leone. Other surprises included Yami Gautam, Esha Gupta and 20 year old newbie Alia Bhatt.
