First Look: Ashton Kutcher as Apple co-founder Steve Jobs in 'Jobs'

Tis the season of biopics. Just last we posted a story about Naomi Watts who stars as Diana, Princess of Wales. This week we unveil the first look theatrical trailer of Ashton Kutcher as entrepreneur and co-founder of one of the most popular brands in the world – Apple.

Official synopsis

We follow Steve Jobs from the enthusiasm and self-discovery of his youth through his darkest days, brightest triumphs, and the ultimate power of his drive, his passions, and his undying will to change everything we thought possible. Dark, honest, and uncompromising, 'Jobs' plunges into the depths of Steve Jobs’ character, uncovering his driving motivations, his gifts, his flaws, his failures, and his ultimate successes.

In addition to Kutcher, Jobs stars Dermot Mulroney, Josh Gad, Lukas Haas, J.K. Simmons and Matthew Modine with Joshua Michael Stern in the director's chair.

The film opened at the Sundance Film Festival amidst mixed reviews and it remains to be seen whether a comic actor like Kutcher, who's filmography is peppered with some embarrassing films, can pull off a role of this magnitude. 

We'll have to wait and watch until the film hits theatres this August.
