First Look: 'I, Frankenstein'
Aaron Eckhart is an underrated actor. I loved him in Erin Brockovich, The Dark Knight and Thank You for Smoking, and I feel he has't quite received the due he deserves. Either which way, it's unlikely he'll get it for this film – a typical action packed, special effects heavy fantasy/thriller from the makers of the Underworld trilogy.
Whatever the case, I,Frankenstein which bears a striking resemblance to Hugh Jackman's Van Helsing, looks like a great deal of fun, at least from its initial trailer.
Official Synopsis
200 years after his shocking creation, Dr. Frankenstein's creature, Adam, still walks the earth. But when he finds himself in the middle of a war over the fate of humanity, Adam discovers he holds the key that could destroy humankind.
