First Look: Jamie Foxx as Electro in 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2'

The film's release is a year away, and yet there's a great buzz around the sequel to the 2012 film The Amazing Spider-Man. Initial stills of Academy Award winner Jamie Foxx as Electro were released this morning, and admittedly he looks nothing like the comic book version of the villain.
Instead, the film version of the character looks creepier, and more menacing, which is no surprise considering director Marc Webb had always insisted that the sequel would be a lot darker along the lines of The Dark Knight Franchise.
Also starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, Dane DeHaan, Shailene Woodley, Paul Giamatti, Colm Feore, Chris Cooper, Sally Field, and Felicity Jones, The Amazing Spider-Man releases 2 May 2014.
