Karan Johar's a fan of Madhuri Dixit
That she is the ultimate Indian heroine has never been disputed, but it seems that even today, all these years on, Madhuri Dixit’s sheen refuses to fade. She still gets roles in films revolving around her and still has the pick of endorsements. Added to all of this, it seems hotshot director Karan Johar too can’t get enough of her.

"Madhuri Dixit is the queen of dance. The songs she has done are iconic...she is the mother of those entertaining songs," said Johar to IANS.
"She (Madhuri) created it, she invented it and she is it. She is re-visiting once again the genre she has made for the big screen. So I am really excited," added the director.
Dixit will be seen shaking a leg with Ranbir Kapoor in a song in Johar’s forthcoming production Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani in which Kapoor is paired opposite Deepika Padukone.
But Johar is more keen on seeing Kapoor's chemistry with his childhood crush Dixit, as opposed to his (Kapoor’s) chemistry with real life ex Padukone.
He said: "Both Madhuri and Ranbir will have a fantastic chemistry. Both
are fantastic dancers and I feel they light up the celluloid like never
before."
Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani also stars Kalki Koechlin and Aditya Roy Kapur and releases worldwide on 31 May 2013.
