Their debut film did the needful. It got noticed and scored at the box office, paving the way for their fledgling careers in Bollywood. And even though Varun Dhawan didn’t whisk her character away the film, rumour has it that off screen, his brawn and charm seem to have done the trick, and that him and his costar Alia Bhatt are now dating.
“On the set, it was just all about getting to know each other. Since they belong to film families, they were very realistic about their relationship. They waited for the film to release, figured out if they still had the same feelings, and few weeks later, they did confess their love for each other. Everyone’s talking about it. Wonder why no one figured it out earlier,” said a friend of the couples to daily tabloid Mumbai Mirror.
Whether their commitments allow their romance to be seen but for now both the newbies are neck deep in shooting for their respective films. Dhawan will be seen in Ekta Kapoor’s Main Tera Hero and Bhatt will be seen in Sajid Nadiadwala 2 States.
