"Mummy is not looking for a bride for me..."— Ranbir Kapoor
The heartthrob who seems to have the world at his feet after a slew of successful films, and the perfect arm candy to boot in the form of Katrina Kaif, says he doesn't need any interference from his parents when it comes to picking his bride to be.
"First of all, I want to make it clear that mummy is not looking for a bride for me. I am doing it for myself," said Ranbir on the sets of Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) while promoting Besharam yesterday (Tuesday 17 September).

The actor's mother and actress Neetu Kapoor, who was also present, is happy with her son's decisions and says she just wants Ranbir to be happy.
"I don't think that in today's times mothers look for suitable brides for their sons. He will do it on his own. It's his life. We only want them to be happy," said Neetu.
In Besharam, Ranbir plays Babli, a street smart car mechanic living in a Delhi orphanage, who's life and ways turn upside down when he meets the love of his live Tara (Pallavi Sharda). The film which sees the actor team up on screen with his parents Rishi and Neetu Kapoor for the first time, is directed by Abhinav Singh Kashyap and hits theatres 2 October 2013.
