Sidharth Malhotra is one newcomer who’s quite in demand. Basking in the success of his debut film, Student Of The Year (2012), this Karan Johar protégé has bagged not one, but two big films. One of them will see him reunite with Dharma Productions, whilst Balaji’s The Villain will see him in a character with shades of grey.
The latest buzz on the latter is that Malhotra will get a complete makeover to play his character which will be in sharp contrast to his boy next door image in his debut film.
“The look test is going on now. He will be seen in a different genre and hence his look is of utmost importance. He will have a complete transformation. We have tried almost ten looks on him with gelled as well as messy hair. But we could not finalise any of them,” said a source to Mumbai daily Mid-Day.
Malhotra is said to be working hard to bulk up for his role in the same too.
“This role will break Sid’s chocolate boy image,” concluded the source.
The Villain is directed by Mohit Suri and the hunt for the female lead is currently underway.
