Sonakshi Sinha to go all out to promote Lootera
Sonakshi Sinha has an enviable track record of record breaking films at the box office. Unfortunately, none of those films have revolved around her. Until now that is. Word has it that she has a powerful role in Vikramaditya Motwane's Lootera as a result of which she wants to go all out with its promotions.
“She has a pivotal part and everything is on an equal footing, which is why she has decided to give the film’s promotions a lot more time," said a source close to Sinha.
Apparently Instead of the usual 20 days, the actress has allotted 40 days for the marketing of Lootera.
“She wants to give her film the best. She wants to reach out to the audience and create awareness about it. Ranveer and Sonakshi will promote the film extensively,” adds the source.
Sinha says, “When it comes to shooting, Lootera has been one of the most difficult experiences for me. The characters, looks, performances and locations are all from an era I knew nothing about. But when Vikramaditya showed me the trailer and some rushes, I felt the struggle was worth it. I loved what I saw; this is probably my best performance so far.”
Lootera pairs Sinha with Ranveer Singh for the first time. Produced by Ekta Kapoor and with music by Amit Trivedi, the film hits theatres on 5 July.
